Power of Play · Year 3
Power of Play is a programme funded by the LEGO Group. As part of it, we are looking for a community partner. We give your volunteers the training and a toolkit to run successful, inclusive events for children and families.
Who we are
A pioneering education charity. We design and deliver creative STEAM experiences for children aged 5 to 11, in schools and other community settings.
We believe imagination is an essential skill for life that will equip children to reimagine their future.
The programme
A partnership started by the LEGO Group to give more children in Tower Hamlets opportunities to learn through play, at home, at school and across the community.
Year 1
Creative curriculum enrichment across 40 schools in Tower Hamlets.
Year 2
The iOi becomes consortium lead. Play packs and events build caregivers' confidence to play with their children.
Year 3, now
Empowering local communities to keep play going, and leaving a legacy after the programme ends.
Power of Play
This year we build on Power of Play by handing it over. Your volunteers gain the confidence, tools and ownership to run their own family event.

Volunteers support an event the iOi leads.

Your volunteers lead their own event. The iOi coaches from the side, then steps back.
